Some portions of this chunk of the page have been altered from their original appearance on the Index Page...so images can be displayed and links work, dumbass.
Recently, Brent posted a crappy little non-working almost-demo for a little game called Furry Phantasy to his What's New page. Driven by the killer combination of my own ego and nothing better to do, I have created a patch for a crappy little non-working almost-demo for a little game called Furry Phantasy. Thrill to an incredibly pixellated Doug Taysom endeavoring vainly to defend the honor of Apple, battle the pure evil of everybody's least favorite Illuminati reference, and witness the stunned faces of incredibly pixellated Tempe High School tech students looking on in horror and basic stupidity. (See if you can find me!)
It's pretty straightforward. Unzip it to the same directory as FP, run techlab.bat to install it, untechlab.bat to uninstall it, and deltechlab.bat (after uninstalling it) to delete it.
Pointless? Duh. Another silly attempt to get Brent to notice my page's existence without actually telling him in so many words? Course. But hell, it can keep you amused up to two minutes. Five if you go/went to Tempe High.
Added silly Furry Phantasy patch.
Added commentary on such to Top.
Removed all but most recent New, Life, and Stream. Check the Archive for the old'uns.
Added image to Life.
(And a statement to prove it!)
Hearing about Charles Gray's death, I added a new Stream.
Added link to the Broadway Bound and Gagged cast's page. Trust me...you'll thank me when they get the Mardi Gras photos up.
New Life.
Celebrating my completion of Rockman and Forte (with Forte), I have added an animated GIF of my favorite scene in the game. Check out Life.
Added some marginally-funny alt text to that last animated GIF under Life.
Realized that my leading news source is, in fact, seanbaby.com. Also registered to vote. All in all, I thought today was a good day to finally get around to what I've been meaning to get around to and add Seanbaby to my links section.
Last week, I wrote a story entitled ChairmanCase@aol.com for a satirical assignment in my Humanities class. It was enough of a hit for me to add a link to the Top.
New Life.
Looking back, yesterday's updates were not what I planned for them to be. So I have tossed in addendums (addenda?).
Addendum
I wrote ChairmanCase@aol.com while The Transformers Movie was running in the background.
Thank you.
Another Addendum can be seen under Life.
For the sake of completeness, and because I'm arranging my forthcoming March archive, I updated the December-February Archive to include the Sonic petition banner I've had in my top table since I put it in. I've also, appropriately, added a corresponding top table to the page and links to that effect across it.
Added KateStory from my old Dragonfire page, which miraculously still seems to be up. I may eventually add what I have of Part IX (most of it is on a currently-inaccessible HD) and Part X. If I can get a copy of a script I wrote last year, BRR, I'll add that too.
And talking of conventions of my old Dragonfire page: Recently, I've heard whisperings that a considerably higher number of people visit my page than I really would've thought. ...Not as many as my GeoCities counter usedta report, but y'know...a nice number. So, to stroke my ego, I've added a new counter. Initially, I planned to put it at the top, but as it takes awhile to load, I decided to toss it to the bottom.

The man you have just seen had no fucking neck.
He was Charles Gray, and he died Tuesday.
From Bond villain to Criminologist in Rocky Horror (above, in the picture that would be totally tasteless if he hadn't been a Rocky actor), this fella got around. He was versatile and definitely carried a presence. His dry contrast to them nutty Transylvanians in The Time Warp made the flick's flagship tune the piece of comic genius that it was.
Fare thee well, Mr. Gray. You've left a legacy for the social misfits who dress in drag and scream at a screen every Saturday at midnight (and I don't just mean Hal Sparks fans). That's more than most folk can say when they die.
It's just a jump to the left
And then a step to the right!
Put your hands on your hips!
And bring your knees in tight!
But it's the pelvic thrust
That really drives you insane!
Let's do the Time Warp again!
Let's do the Time Warp again!
(Fuck that chin!)
MIDI from rockymusic.org, because Crosswinds makes a big deal out of MIDIs on member pages. Images originally from Cosmo's Factory; Rocky font available in the Halloween section of Abzerd Productions. All in all, I've put more effort into this than any previous Stream.
Read Gray's obituary at BBC.
Games:
Dragon Warrior III.
Games: Mega Man 8.
Games:
Rockman and Forte.
Games: The OfficeMax down the street was selling the Win95 version of Earthworm Jim for $10 a pop. I've got the SNES version, but this one's got extra levels and like that. Quite nice.
Books: Got through Shadow Star. And now I'm reading Shadow of the Wolf, by Harry Plumlee. ...Lot of Shadows lately.
Games, Addendum: Forgot to mention how happy I was to find that there's a secret exit to Tube Race (at least in this version). I hate Tube Race.
